Samuel Weingarten is a New Jersey native currently living in Boulder, Colorado.
With a family background in acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from his mother Shiaomei, Samuel has been around various healing modalities since childhood. After being inspired by the Rolfing work of Rose Sher and Structural Integration work of Russell Ditchfield-Agboh, Sam attended and completed school at the Rolf Institute in 2024 and has been practicing in Boulder and New Jersey since.
Aside from studying the work of Ida P. Rolf, Sam has also studied in:
- Chinese Medicine with Jeffrey Yuen, 88th generation Daoist Priest of the Jade Purity Tradition and 26th Generation Daoist Priest of the Complete Reality School
- Sound Healing with Tibetan Sound Bowls and Gongs with Suren Shresthra
- Watsu with Ahara Vatter
- Jivamukti Yoga with David Life and Sharon Gannon
- Energy Medicine with Donna Eden
Sam spent the years before Rolfing playing music and touring extensively in rock and metal bands, officially playing for bands Illusionist and America Part Two, filling in for many other groups of all genres, and working on tours for the likes of Motionless In White, Lorna Shore, and Palisades.
Sam also has interests in functional movement, nutrition and the natural food and beverage industry, weight training, marketing consulting, and many others.
